Summary of Hunt Changes in Patch 2.35 in FFXIV

After patch 2.3, the discussion and complaint about Hunt were much more than any other new updates. SE did changes about Hunt in 2.35, as I can understand, the changes are as follows:

B-rank elite hunts (Naul, Skogs Fru, etc) work like this:

l     Pick up your weekly hunt bill on a hunt board at each Grand Company headquater.

l     Find the mark yourself (respawn timer is 5 seconds).

l     Don't call it out on a linkshell (most people won't care).

l     Kill it yourself, get 50 seals.

l     Ignore all B-ranks for the rest the week.

Daily hunt bills (non-elite marks) also changed:

l     Normal monster reward increased from 1-4.

l     Fate boss reward increased from 2-10.

l     32 total seals per day (3 normal monsters and 2 fate bosses)

There are no any change on rank A and rank S elite marks. Most players thought five seconds respawn time of rank B elite marks should be useful for solo players, but because there are no rewards without elite mark bill, so five seconds respawn time looks like almost unuseful. Seals gain is harder than before.

FFXIV GIL Generated and Spending of GIL Before and After Patch 2.3 in FFXIV: ARR

FFXIV GIL is the game currency in the game Final Fantasy XIV: A Real Realm. FFXIV Gil Generated and Spending of Gil are different before and after patch 2.3.

This first slide is of "Gil Generated from In-Game Systems." The large yellow portion of the pie chart is drops from enemies which are a bit of ff14 gil drops per enemy in dungeons, but prior to the patch this made up roughly 2/3 of overall FFXIV GIL. This is mainly comprised of ff14 gil that is made when repeating dungeons. After the patch was implemented, ff14 gil has been generated by playing through the main scenario quests and via duties other than dungeons. What's really interesting is that the total amount of ff14 gil generated is nearly without change. The development team set limitations on the amount of ff14 gil to control inflation or avoid the disruption of economic balance.

 

Prior to patch 2.3, as you can imagine, a large amount of ff14 gil went towards equipment repair. In the 30.4% for repair fees, the amount of ff14 gil spent on dark matter has not been included. The amount spent on grade 5 dark matter is included in the 13.9% for shop purchases, and considering these two aspects were spending a lot of repairs daily. Additionally, prior to the patch, there were already worlds where land was sold out, but it was still selling very consistently. The market boards were also an important point, and ff14 gil was being absorbed when players conducted transactions. While it might be a bit difficult to see with the size, the total amount of spending has almost doubled. This doesn't mean that repairs have gone down, but compared to the overall picture, the percentage of ff14 gil spent on repairs has gone down. In regards to purchasing land, new wards were added and players are also spending their ff14 gil on private chambers, so this aspect is very large. Also another important point is that the amount of ff14 gil spent on market board fees has nearly doubled due to an increase in the amount of new in-game systems; however, the percentage has barely changed. Additionally, with the implementation of these new systems and features, the amount of items that players can purchase from shops has also increased.

The patch 2.3 has not only big changes on FFXIV GIL but also on many other aspects, like armors, duties, dungeons etc. which has big effect on the game, and is the best patch I have ever seen. We expect every big patch in the future has so great or greater changes to bring us surprise as 2.3 brought.

One of the most questions being consulted from a first-time FFXIV GIL buyer is that will my account get banned after buying gil. FFXIV GIL buyers did not get banned

For the rich people, we can not see any reason that they should farm game currency by themselves, the money to buy game currency is a penny for them. Some people who have jobs should not spend a lot of time on farming too, for it is a waste for them. It is unreasonable to force different kinds of people to farm all game currency needed in game themselves. Obviously the Term of Service of game companies about RMT is against the nature of the games. However, in order to protect their benefit they have to make the rules ignoring its social feature on purpose. They can not say sellers illicit but buyers legitimate with different rules for two sides. So SE does have ban wave to rampant famers by bots and cheat, but takes a blind eye to FF14 GIL buyers.

Select reasonable secure transaction methods to receive FFXIV Gil

So if we should say FFXIV GIL buyers do not get banned any time, you can buy FFXIV GIL in any way? No, after all, the action is violating the Term of Service of SE. Therefore, when you buy Final Fantasy Gil, you should select reasonable secure transaction methods to receive gil. You should keep clear of suspicious actions, to make the transaction be normal player-to-player. Sellers should have trade characters with normal name and normal level, instead, have a rubbishy name like aefsdfsad at level 1, that is obviously farmers’ account. In addition, you do not say any word about your buying gil with trader in game, just do normal communication like player-to-player.

If FFXIV: ARR does not have RMT, it is a tragedy for the game.

If a game does not have RMT, it is a tragedy for the game. Based on the data statistics about amount of transactions on the unique oversea game-currency-transaction site in China, Final Fantasy XIV: ARR is currently at the rank 3, WOW US at the top rank 1, WOW EU at the rank 2, and they always keep in the same rank. When FFXIV:ARR came out, it rose rapidly to rank 3, but fell down to about rank 10 before version 2.3, that proved 2.3 is a success. By the way, Final Fantasy 11 is at the rank 64 in all the 86 games.  

For a player it is better you can do everything by yourselves, but if you are an enterprising adventurer who need a lot of FFXIV GIL to improve your armor unwilling to farm them in a long time, you can buy gil without worrying about ban, then what you have to do is to take correct transaction methods like player-to-player.
