The next major update - Blade and Soul: Dawn of the Lost Continent goes alive on December 6, bringing a bounty of new content and gameplay upgrades. The biggest addition it will bring to the table is the titular lost continent itself: Solak. Here is an overview of what the update will introduce:

A newly raised level-cap: The level cap for all characters will be raised from 50 to 55.

A new story chapter: Act 8 of the Blade & Soul story sends players on a mission to awaken Jinsoyun. They’ll need to enlist some help and a flying pirate ship in order to get their mission started though.

Wardrobe Becomes the Showroom
The Wardrobe is being expanded to support weapon and pet appearances (alongside costumes), and because of the additional item types, it is renamed it to the Showroom. An active Premium Membership is still required to deposit items in the Showroom, but an active membership is not required to withdraw items.

NCsoft is also working on full Showroom access for all players (with or without Premium Membership) in the near future, more information is releasing in the coming months.

Humble Brag

A new “boast” chat box will display when you or nearby characters achieve certain milestones, like equipment evolutions, receiving special prizes when opening event boxes or Treasure Troves, or when a specific achievement is earned. Players can click on the character or item links in the window for more details. The window will disappear when there haven’t been any updates for a while, but you can click on the button of “See more” to view a history. This is a 12-player raid, players will square off against Asura once again as he licks his wounds and immerses himself in Dark Chi. You are to stop him once and for all. The raid is for level 55 and Hongmoon Level 10 players.
