Most of them were realistic. Los Angeles Lakers' Lonzo Ball predicted he should be rated an 80, which is probably close to where his initial rating will be. In NBA 2K17, the Philadelphia 76ers' Ben Simmons was rated a 79 and he went No. 1 overall. Ball was the No. 2 pick so he might be a 79 or a 78, but an 80 probably isn't out of the question.
The New Orleans Pelicans rookie Frank Jackson may not understand the process. He predicted himself a 90 overall rating. That would mean he's better than the Toronto Raptors' DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry, the Minnesota Timberwolves' Karl-Anthony Towns and others. Jackson was the 31st pick in the draft, so it will be a little difficult to get a rating above a 70 to start the season.
