ESO Guide of Crafting Writs

Writs are special crafting assignments in The Elder Scrolls Online. These quests are repeatable and can be completed once every 20 hours. Completing Writs will grant you experience, crafting inspiration, and provide you with a treasure chest that you can open to receive random rewards, including crafting materials and maps to special harvesting zones that have double the materials and feature legendary drops.
Completing crafting writ quests in the ESO will sometimes yield a crafting survey as one of the quest rewards. These surveys are similar to treasure maps, in that they depict an obscure location that is somewhere in the zone the crafting writ quest is completed in.

Certification
Crafting Writ CertificationBefore you can take crafting writs, your character will need to be certified in a particular crafting skill. Fortunately this is way easier than you might think: simply walk to the nearest Writ Board in a city of your choice, and then visit a certification trainer NPC in Davon’s Watch, Vulkhel Guard, or Daggerfall.
These certification trainers will give you a quest explaining the basics of crafting. There are two separate certification trainers: one for equipment crafting professions which are Woodworking, Blacksmithing and Clothing, and the other for consumable crafting which are Alchemy, Provisioning, and Enchanting.
You can only have ONE certification quest from EACH of these trainers at any given time but you only need to complete the certification process once, so you will quickly go through all 6 of these quests. Do note that your character must be at least level 6 before you can take on certification.
In case you have Rank 10 in a particular profession already, you can completely skip the certification process by selecting the right dialogue options when talking to trainers. If you’re already experienced with crafting or if you read our crafting basics guide, you’re likely safe to skip certification altogether as it won’t teach you anything new.

The ESO's Tips of Aldmeri Dominion

Aldmeri Dominion is a Faction in Elder Scrolls Online. When word reached the High Elves of Summerset that the Imperial City had fallen under the control of the human supporters of Molag Bal, the Aldmeri Dominion was formed. The High Elves reached out to the neighboring races of Wood Elves and Khajiit with a plea that their combined forces might prevent the younger races of Tamriel from bringing disaster to the world, as they had so many times in the past. The High Elves were the original settlers of Tamriel and created the common tongue used throughout the continent today. They are also naturally proficient with magic. The Wood Elves inhabit the thick, near-impenetrable forests of Valenwood. They are supreme hunters, guides, and masters in sneaking and thievery. They are also the most gifted archers in all of Tamriel. The Khajiit, a proud feline race, are fearsome warriors, proficient with bladed weapons. They stand proudly at the forefront of every battle. The power and determination of the Aldmeri Dominion should not be underestimated.

The Aldmeri Dominion was formed by Queen Ayrenn to fight the forces and influence of men and are a ruthless alliance. Supporting the Queen are 3 of Tamriel’s most loyal races: Altmer, Bosmer and Khajiit. They are united, loyal and all serve under the Queen to win any war. Ayrenn has always viewed humans as not near good enough to rule Tamriel. Men were fragile, weak & die easily. Using this as justification, the ones that should forever rule as proposed by the Divines of Tamriel, was to be filled by the Aldmeri Dominion. The Dominion controls the provinces of Summerset Isle, Valenwood and Elsweyr. The heart of the Dominion is located in Elden Root, concealed within the thick vegetation of Valenwood and guarded by the Bosmer. They are one of the most tightly bonded Alliances in Tamriel; their power, loyalty and purpose (and a very stubborn Queen) maybe enough to claim victory in Tamriel, over the other Alliances.

Recommended AddOns and Mods

Add-Ons are awesome. They allow for players, developers and members of the ESO community to make and share useful tools which can enhance your ESO experience, make life a little easier, automate some mundane tasks and display a lot of useful information, stats and resources.
Add-Ons themselves are not made by ZOS, the developers of the Elder Scrolls Online, but are made by other people, most often other players. ZOS allows the use of Add-Ons and supplies the API which developers can use to make Add-Ons. Add-Ons are only available to PC players and at this time no plans are in place to allow Add-Ons on the console version of ESO. The API that ZOS provides is designed to allow the use of convenience and display Add-Ons but not performance enhancing or “cheat” Add-Ons so that players without Add-Ons can still compete.

How to install Elder Scrolls Online add-ons
Start by navigating to My Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live. You'll see an Add-Ons folder—unsurprisingly, you drop add-ons (in their own folders) into the Add-Ons folder. When you run ESO, there's a convenient menu called Add-Ons, and anything you've added to the folder should be enabled automatically. Just keep in mind every variant of the word "add-on" and you're golden.
You can manage all your add-ons and tools from the special Management screen. It’s easy to find it: go to character select screen and find “Add-Ons” button in the upper left side (under “Options” button).
The screen allows users to enable, disable and remove installed tools. There is also a special filter that allows the management of add-ons for all characters or for a specific character. This allows users to create custom tool sets for different classes and play-types. It’s a comfortable solution. For example you can enable Alchemist tool for your Sorcerer only and other characters will not be able to use it.

Useful Add-Ons
There are a lot of Add-Ons available and they can perform a number of different functions. It is important to remember that some Add-Ons can harm your game performance in certain situations. If you are having performance problems you should first try to disable your Add-Ons to check if they are causing the problem. Here are some of the best Add-Ons and their functions.
