Cartel Market Changes:

1.      Rarity Changes for Pack Items:
The terms ‘Rare’, ‘Super Rare’ and ‘Ultra Rare’ are moving forward with Knights of the Fallen Empire, these rarities will be changed to ‘Bronze’, ‘Silver’, and ‘Gold’. Bronze quality items will now be associated with a Bronze Cartel Market emblem, Silver quality with a Silver emblem, and Gold quality with a Gold emblem.
2.      Changes to Monthly Pack Contents:

3.      Miscellaneous Changes:

Combat Changes:

1.      Stat Changes
A single stat called Mastery has replaced the four primary stats Strength, Willpower, Cunning, and Aim.
Endurance now gives slightly more health per point once you hit level 65.
The stat Surge has been removed. Surge has now been rolled into the Critical Rating stat.
To ensure that Critical Hit Chance is never a wasted stat, any abilities that automatically critically hit now convert any Critical Hit beyond 100% into additional critical damage.

Base weapon accuracy has been increased from 90% to 100%. All non-basic attacks already had 100% accuracy, so this change brings basic attacks up to par.

Lastly, the official has rearranged how to distribute ratings on items. Now, Power and defense share the first rating slot on modifications, while the rest of the stats (Accuracy, Alacrity, Critical, Absorb, and Shield) will share the second rating slot.
2.      Planet Level Sync
A new system called Level Sync has been added to the game. While you are under Level Sync, Stats, Armor, Weapon Damage are adjusted on your character. When you are above the target level of your planet, your level will automatically be lowered to that planet’s level.
3.      Experience and Grouping
Experience is not split between members of a group any more, which means the size of the group no longer impacts how much experience your character will earn.

The experience earned is now based on the level difference between the highest level character (after level sync) and the level of the NPC.
4.      Temporary Ability Bars
Now, when you have the Huttbal, a temporary ability bar will appear so you do not need to have your throw on your normal hotbar any longer.
5.      Ability Replacements
The new ability will take the same spot on the hotbar as the old ability. Whenever you abandon your discipline, the older ability will return to you.

Alexander - The Arm of the Father or A3 is the third floor of Alexander: Gordias. It requires the players to have an average item level (iLvl) of 170 or above to enter. To unlock this raid you need to clear Alexander – The Cuff of the Father and complete the side quest – Steel and Steam. You can enter A3 after you take the following side quest: Tinker, Seeker, Soldier, Spy from an NPC called Biggs in the Dravanian Hinterlands (X:21, Y:18).

Though A3 doesn’t drop gear, but a variety of tokens that can be traded for ilvl 190 gear. You can trade them with the NPC called Sabina at Idyllshire (X:5, Y:5). For the unlucky players who never have met or rolled their own equipment in some dungeons, it is more reasonable.

Living Liquid

The first thing you will notice is that the arena is surrounded by an electric field. Try to stay away from it as much as you can because it stuns and inflicts electrocution DoT and paralysis to anyone who stands in it. It's best if you tank the boss in the middle of the arena.

l  Phase 1 - Human

The boss cleaves in this form, keep him facing away from the raid.

Protean Wave - Conal AOE in several directions that deals damage and knocks back.

Splash - Raid Wide AOE.

Sluice - 4 players get markers above their head, spread out as you will deal AOE damage around yourselves and spawns circular AOE underneath several players.

Rotation: Protean Wave > Sluice > Splash x 3

(Monks should use Form Shift during phase transition to Coeurl form to keep GL3 and gain 3 stacks Chakra)

l  Phase 2 - Hand

The hand does a heavy cleave that needs to be shared between both tanks.

Wash Away - AOE knockback.

Shortly after Wash Away, the hand will split and spawn Liquid Limb, the off tank needs to take this add and face both hands away from each other and the raid, they cleave and cause Blunt Resistance Down.

Rotation: Cleave -> Wash Away -> Cleave -> Cleave -> Split -> Cleave (both adds) x7

(Monks can use Tornado Kick when tanks have 7 stacks and gain Chakra V during phase transition)

l  Phase 3 - Tornado

This is the add phase, the boss is invulnerable in this form and deals area of effect damage in the center. Throughout this phase two types of adds will spawn in the center and make their way to the edge, causing heavy damage to the raid if they reach it. Gear Lubricant have low HP and can be dealt with easily. The other add called Piston Lubricant have higher HP, and half way towards the edge will cast an ability that will make them rush to the edge, this should be stunned to give you more time.

There are two more mechanics to take note here.

First one is an orange tether from the boss to a random player, this player needs to pass the tether to a tank who then needs to stay away from everyone else. When the tether goes, that player do an AOE around themselves hitting extremely hard and will kill most players except a tank.

The second mechanic is 2 players will get an icon above their head, a + or a -, note both players can get the same icon. If the two players have the same debuff (e.g. + and +) they should stack together in the center, if they have opposite debuffs (e.g. + and -) they should spread out. These players will be stunned and either pulled together (opposite) or knocked back (matching debuffs). The former also inflicts a debuff with a severe penalty to stats for 60 seconds for both players if they stood too close to each other when this happens.

l  Phase 4 - Final

This phase is forced at % based, most likely around 35%, some of our Tornado phases lasted 1 or 2 waves of adds.

This is the same as the Human phase, with a mix of the above mechanics added, cascade and a debuff added to the cleave.

Cascade - Deals AOE damage and spawns 3 large AOE pools around the room.

His cleave will now apply Blunt Resistance Down, the tanks should tank swap about every 4-5 stacks.

Living Pool may wipe the raid with Cascade if he hits his hard enrage.

The New 4.0 Class Changes in SWTOR

Jedi Knight/Sith Warrior
New Active Ability: Mad Dash/Blade Blitz! The new active ability can make you dash forward 20 meters, deal weapon damage to enemies in your path and increase your defense chance by 100% while dashing. Master Strike has been renamed Blade Dance. The Master Strike ability of Jedi Knight has been renamed “Blade Dance” because Soresu Form reduces the Focus gained by “Strike” abilities (Strike, Sundering Strike, and Warding Strike), but Master Strike does not generate or cost Focus-so its name is out of place with the conventions of the rest of the class. No change needs to be made for Sith Warriors who gain Rage with “Assault” abilities (as Ravage does not contain the word “Assault” in it).

New Passive Skill: Devious Wounds/Smoldering Burns! Annihilate/Merciless Slash makes your bleeds/burns deal 10% more damage for 3 seconds after you activate it (percentage and duration subject to change).

Force Rend/Force Melt is now trained at level 58 (up from 57).
Swift Demise/Accelerating Victory is now trained at level 60 (up from 59).

Carnage/Combat
New Passive Skill: Bloody Slashes/Burning Slices! Ravage/Blade Dance stacks a bleed/burn on the target (stacks up to 3 times). Each time Ravage/Blade Dance deals damage, it will add a new stack to the bleed/burn. Dealing damage when it is applied, each time a stack is added, and every 3 seconds for 9 seconds after Ravage/Blade Dance finishes adding stacks.
Gore/Precision is now trained at level 42 (up from 41).
Devastating Blast/Clashing Blast is now trained at level 58 (up from 57).
Sever/Saber Storm is now trained at level 60 (up from 59).

Fury/Concentration
New Passive Skill: Furious Rage/Centered Focus! Furious Strike/Concentrated Slice makes your next Raging Burst/Focused Burst or Smash/Force Sweep deal 15% more critical damage.
Force Crush/Force Exhaustion is now trained at level 42 (up from 41).
Furious Strike/Concentrated Slice is now trained at level 58 (up from 57).
Furious Defense/Concentrated Defense is now trained at level 60 (up from 59).

More trash mobs, deal with them to reduce the number of enemies attacking the tank.

l  Gigantic Robot Machines Magitek Gobwidow G-IX

Save these for last, they are easy enough to take down, but have an AOE. If only one is spawned, tank it separately from the rest of the enemies until they are dealt with. Otherwise try to avoid having many of these in one area.

Compared with other floors, A2 is easier. If your team has rushed A1, you can complete A2 easily. Ilvl 190 equipment is waiting for you. Of course, if it is dropped.
