There are two different phases for taking Oregorger. In general the first one is single-target with low movement of him, and on the second phase he will have heavy movements.

Tips:

• Tank needs to drag Oregeorger to a very clear spot in a corner of the storehouse room.
• Position of Ranged and Healers should stand in a passageway on Oregorger’s side.
• Position of Melees need to take the spot behind him.

There are some basic information and main damage skills from Oregorger that player should know first. The starting mana of Oregorger is 100, and as he runs out of all 100 mana, the second phase comes. In the first phase, Blackrock Barrage, Acid Torrent and Retched Blackrock are the three main damage skills from him.

• Team members should interrupt Blackrock Barrage in the first time when Oregorger releases the skill.
• The position of Off-tanks need to soak the skill of Acid Torrent.

Strategy Guide of Blackrock Foundry to World of Warcraft: Gruul

Blackrock Foundry is another large instance after instance of Highmaul. In Blackrock Foundry there are ten bosses in total including Gruul, Oregorger, Beastlord Darmac, Flamebender Ka’graz, Hans’gar and Franzok, Operator Thogar, The Blast Furnace, Kromog, The Iron Maidens and Blackhand. I focus on the first Boss Gruul in this article and provide a strategy guide to wow players who are planning to run him. 

Accordingly Cruul is considered as the relatively easier one in Blackrock Foundry. It is similar as all other instances in World of Warcraft except Boss’s HP and Damage. This guide can be used for both Normal and Heroic difficulties.

1.       Location: Gruul can be found in Gruul’s Lair, Slagworks wing of the Blackrock Foundry raid. 

2.       Profession Configuration Suggestions: the minimum item level requirement for this instance is 655. Boss of Gruul’s HP and certain skills may be varied as differences of numbers of players, so as my personal experience, I suggest:

• 10 Persons Team: 2-3 Tank, 2-3 Heal, 5DPS
• 20 Persons Team: 2-3 Tank, 4-5 Heal, 13DPS
• 30 Persons Team: 2-3 Tank, 6-7 Heal, 20-21DPS

And one more thing, try to increase numbers of heals during instance raid period, and generally decrease heals when team members are proficient with this instance. 

3.       Gruul’s main damage skill “Inferno Slice” and dealing methods: Undoubtedly Inferno Slice is the most important and harmful skill from Gruul that players need to pay attention to. See the screenshot, point A is for Tank1, point B is for Tank2 and half of rest members, and C point is for Tank3 and the other half of members. There are 6 slices in total from Gruul, and the specific strategies to deal with Inferno Slice are as below.

• First Slice: Tank2 Taunt, after finishing the first slice Tank1 Taunt back.
• Second Slice: Tank3 Taunt, after finishing the second slice Tank3 goes to point A, Tank2 goes to point C, and Tank1 goes to point B.
• Third Slice: Tank1 Taunt, after finishing the third slice Tank3 Taunt back.
• Fourth Slice: Tank2 Taunt, after finishing the fourth slice Tank2 goes to point A, Tank1 goes to point B, and Tank3 goes to point B.
• Fifth Slice: Tank3 Taunt, after finishing the fifth slice Tank2 Taunt back.
• Sixth Slice: Tank1 Taunt, after finishing the sixth slice Tank1 is back to point A, Tank3 is back to point C, and Tank2 is back to point B.

In a word, Tank in point B shares responsibility of Taunt in odd number slice, while Tank in point C shares responsibility of Taunt in even number slice. Then three Tanks move to the nearby points in counter-clockwise direction.

In general, Gruul is not hard for our team (IT680), but may be a little difficult for those who are with lower IT like IT655. Preparing strategy well before entering in the instance, and learning from each failure, you will successfully get it done shortly.
