SWTOR: What Will You Expect for The Next Expansion
The current expansion - Knights of the Eternal Throne (In
December 2016) was released as the
sixth expansion that coincided with the game’s five-year anniversary. It
continues the story of the Outlander. Subscribers received one level 65
character token, with additional tokens available at the cartel store. The
storyline has nine chapters of solo content and it raises the level cap to 70. The
expansion focuses on defeating Empress Vaylin and the Eternal Empire. Now SWTOR
fans have gradually lost interest in playing KotET and now start expecting for
the next expansion. MmoGah

Player Flamboskumpdi says that something
he’d like to see is the game going back to its republic vs empire roots. That
was always more interesting for him than everybody fighting a bigger common

game put more focus on pvp and blend the story elements into it, since he finds

the planets with strong lore that they love, rather than just something small
that will just be forgotten later. And since the maps and planets are designed
the way they are it shouldn’t be a problem to be just expand on them.

1. More horizontal progression. Item
rating should end at 250. Unique rewards should be more on the cosmetic side.
Existing high-level items can just be spread throughout levels 70-75. There are
enough items to even fill out all the way to level 80! If the level cap is to
be raised, do not raise the level requirement for ranked warzones. Keep it at
70. The endgame should be cosmetic, and the best gear should only provide 5%
higher stats than the easily-acquired gear.
2. Loosened F2P restrictions with raised
credit cap to 500k/1m. Even allow them to reach level 70, but with no Galactic
Command. Access to story operations without loot for the purpose of quests, no
weekly warzones limit.
3. Fix the engine already! Having to run
SWTOR as administrator mode and compatibility mode for smooth performance is a
sign of poor optimization.
4. No more overpowered abilities, please!
Shift the abilities down so that the last one unlocks at level 60. There are
some 4-level gaps as opposed to usual 2-level gaps. He wouldn’t mind having
more utility points.

away with all-around great content, it is likely SWTOR won’t be his main game
ever again. And He’s not saying that to sound petulant, because He knows his
one subscription doesn’t matter. No, He’s saying it because it makes him sad.
Truth is, He has some hellacious rose-tinted glasses on about the first three
or so years of this game. It actually hurts him to have to trash this game, but
he can’t ignore the truth anymore.

SWTOR: Thoughts on Consular Storyline
SWTOR Consular Storyline is one of the
most what swtor fans play. Why do so many gamers choose to play it! Now, let’s
see swtor players’ thoughts on Consular Storyline:
I enjoyed it. It’s very diplomatic
and the way I see a consular playing out. Diplomacy first, the chess-like
thinking moves but when that fails (and it does), combat has to happen. I
actually rank consular fairly high on the stories I like list.
I think that one’s experience of
the consular storyline is highly dependent on how you view your own character.
I played a sage healer, one who tries to protect others and mend their hurts,
so for me the first chapter really fit like a glove. If you’re not interested
in healing, or not playing a lightside character, it mightn’t feel like such a
good fit.
My feelings about the other
chapters are otherwise the same as yours. I liked the feeling of building up an
alliance and then investigating secret infiltrators.
Personally my favorite companions
were Nadia and Iresso, even though we got them last. And, again, that’s because
they fit best with the character I was playing. Qyzen is an achievement hunter,
Tharan a sleezy genius, Zenith a ruthless freedom-fighter - while they are all
interesting characters, I didn’t feel like they could become truly close to my
consular. They disagreed in too many ways, didn’t see the world from the same
point of view. Nadia and Iresso are both more idealistic, and for my pure
light-side consular they naturally became close, Nadia as a friend/student and
Iresso as a sweetheart. So I guess the important thing is that there’s someone
for everyone. No matter how you play your consular, there should be at least
one companion who can relate well to them.
I enjoyed my Consular playthroughs
generally, I liked most of Chapter 1 (except from Tatooine) and felt it was a
lot more interesting than the Knight’s first chapter.
Chapter 2 and 3 are also both
interesting and feel a bit more unique to the other stories.
But a Dark side consular is one of
the most hilarious things I’ve ever done. Your mostly a dick to people and you
have the single highest Jedi body count of all the classes.
On the one hand, I would like there
to be more consequences to taking dark side options as the story often feels
like “Hey you totally murdered that Jedi we told you to save. Have a promotion.”
But on the other hand it is a bit more refreshing to see that sometimes the
dark side option is the easy way. Part of what makes being a Jedi or light
sided person so difficult is that doing the right thing isn’t always easy and
will sometimes come at a cost to you, something I think the Consular story does
much better than the Knight’s story.
I think the companions are mostly
interesting, no real standouts unlike the Bounty Hunter and Sith Warrior crew
but that’s ok. Zenith is a great companion if you do play a dark sided
Consular, Qyzen is fine but I think they should’ve used someone else for your
first companion.

Galactic Trade Network (GTN) to see if another player is selling one. Once you
have them, you will need to ensure that they are moved to the character that you
intend to boost. As a reminder, the Master’s Datacron will not work on an
existing level 70 character.
Opening
the bundle will grant your character two items, the Master’s Datacron and the
Eternal Commander Equipment box. When you are ready to boost your character to
max level, go ahead and right click on the Datacron in your inventory (make
sure you are using it on the character you want to boost)! This will begin an
eight second cast timer which says, “Promoting to level 70.” With the cast bar
complete, you will receive two pop-ups confirming that this is the character
that you want to boost. Note: This decision is final and irreversible.
Once
confirmed, the screen will fade to white and you will be transported to your
player ship, which you will be granted as a part of the Master’s Datacron if
you don’t already have one. For those players who want to experience unlocking
their ship naturally through the story, you’ll still be able to do so. While on
your ship, you will notice a Mission in your log named “Master’s Datacron” with
the text “Increasing level.” After a few seconds, that Mission will complete
and your character will become level 70.
At this
point, you should head to your Discipline window (default shortcut key of K) to
choose your Class’s Discipline if you haven’t already. This is important as a
Discipline is required to use the Eternal Commander’s Equipment box.
With your
Discipline selected, head to your inventory and right click on the Equipment
box. This will grant you a full set of gear, based on your chosen Discipline.
You’re
all set! Your character is now max level and ready to roam the galaxy. You can
see any Missions you were on previously in your Mission log. Feel free to
continue your existing Missions or explore the galaxy!

SWTOR: United Forces Rewards
On November 8th, the Star War: The Old
Republic galaxy will be brought together in the United Forces update, which
allows players to join together and battle to decide the fate of the galaxy
like never before. In order to celebrate this momentous update to the game,
players who join the excitement right from the beginning will be able to earn
two very special rewards: the Mini Mogul NM-1 Minipet, and Darth Hexid, a Sith

Over the
years, I’ve been asked many times about my role as Lead Designer on Star Wars™:
Knights of the Old Republic™. I am forever grateful to have been part of that
team and it’s a team I am still proud to be a part of as many of us are still
here at BioWare.
I’m often
asked what about the project was most impactful for me. It’s a question to
which there is not one answer. I am grateful for all the opportunities I have
had in this business, but being part of the KOTOR team and the series of games
that it gave rise to, including Star Wars™: The Old Republic™, is something I
am thankful for every day. Working on the Old Republic series of games has
allowed me to meet and work alongside some of the most talented people I have
ever met. To be able to be part of a project based on Star Wars™ is an
awe-inspiring experience – particularly for someone like me, who grew up
watching the movies and playing the old West End pen and paper RPGs. I never
dreamed that one day I would have a chance to be part of the Star Wars team as
a game designer. It is still inspiring for me every day to work with the
creative legends in this business.
My hope
is that we have inspired players to love the Star Wars universe as much as we
do. We look at the success of the KOTOR series and now SWTOR, as a phenomenal
opportunity to bring players into this world we love. The greatest compliment I
can get is when I hear someone tell me about their favorite moment and a time
they won’t forget from when they were playing the game.
As the
original KOTOR reaches a new generation of gamers today on Xbox One, we’re
celebrating KOTOR’s legacy in SWTOR with KOTOR-themed giveaways, including the
